Encouraging Words for Friiday

Theme for the Week: Being Obedient

"In His presence is fullness of joy; at His right hand there are pleasures for evermore" (Psalm 16:11).

† Thought for the Day †
“It is important to note that when we are obedient in praising our God and rejoicing in Him, we are blessed by that very act” (Loaded With Benefits, Page 45).

Prayer for the Week
We pray, in the name of Jesus, that we will heed God’s call to have compassion for others. We pray that we will be tenderhearted and courteous, not returning evil for evil, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that we are called to this, that we may inherit a blessing. It is according to Your good and perfect will that we pray.

To God be the Glory! Amen.

Memory Scripture for the Week
1 Peter 3:8-9; 8Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: 9Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.

Weekly Wisdom Morsel
His Word is not a story
That is a fable.
To do what He promised
He is more than able.

Encouraging Words for Tuesday

Theme for the Week: Being Obedient

". . . The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation" (Exodus 34:6-7).
† Thought for the Day †
“We might think that something or someone is the best thing since sliced bread, but if God tells us that it is not good for us, then it is not good for us. If we disobey God, then there are consequences for us” (Loaded With Benefits, Page 44).

Encouraging Words for Monday

Theme for the Week: Being Obedient
"Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation" (Romans 13:1-2).

† Thought for the Day †
“Principally, we must be obedient to God. Being obedient to God is simply doing what He has commanded us to do. Christ obeyed the Father, giving us the supreme example of obedience” (Loaded With Benefits, Page 42).

Prayer for the Week
We pray, in the name of Jesus, that we will heed God’s call to have compassion for others. We pray that we will be tenderhearted and courteous, not returning evil for evil, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that we are called to this, that we may inherit a blessing.
